Microsoft partners are independent companies that offer their clients industry-leading technology through consulting, deployment, help-desk support, hosting services, training and more.

There are three levels of Microsoft partners:

• Gold
• Certified
• Registered

Microsoft Gold Certified Partners are Microsoft’s’ elite business partners. They have the knowledge, skills and commitment to help you implement technology solutions that match your exact business needs. To gain accreditation and the right to use the official logo, all Gold Certified Partners must employ Microsoft Certified Professionals.

There is a rigorous process involved in becoming a Certified partner and advancing to Gold Certified partner. Partners must provide customer references and employee certifications proving their skills and experience.

In addition, Microsoft has launched the new Small-Business Specialist program to recognise partners with proven ability in providing solutions for small businesses

Small Business Specialist Partners are experts in the design, deployment and customisation of small business solutions. They've also worked tirelessly to provide the most advanced IT answers for small businesses, which Microsoft recognise by allowing them to use their the official logo.
