June 2008 MJC Customers able to continue with XP
After listening to feedback from customers who stated they would prefer to continue using XP as their PC operating system, MJC in partnership with MAXDATA are giving customers the ability to choose to XP when ordering new equipment.
Through MJC, MAXDATA offers customers the solution to continue to operate on Microsoft XP Professional, whilst also providing the option to upgrade to Windows Vista when necessary.
MJC delivers the PC preinstalled with Windows XP Professional, and with a licence for Windows Vista. You have the option of using Windows Vista as soon as your company is ready to do so. Additional replacement and expansion costs will fall as a result.
Pre-Requisites:
- In order to be able to exercise the downgrade right you need one license for Windows® XP Professional. For this purpose, it will be sufficient if there is one PC in the network operated with Windows® XP Professional. The license is not required for the registration process of the new PC, but in order to make sure that an XP-based network structure exists
Your Advantages:
- No additional expense through independently downgrading (in addition a copy of Windows XP Professional is not required)
- Whilst being able to use Windows XP, you are also already mobilised to use Vista when you are ready
- You receive a legal licence for the Windows Vista Operating System
- The cost for upgrading to Windows Vista is minimal
- The upgrade to Windows Vista is ready whenever you are
