July News MJC awarded UKita Member status
This month we’re proud to become part of the UK IT Association (UKita) by being awarded membership status.
This is a non-profit membership organisation, representing over 350 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in and relating to the ICT sector. UKita’s mission is to encourage and support the development and growth of these SME IT businesses, and provides a voice for the SME technology companies in the UK.
One of the key benefits of working with a UKita member is the Ukita Quality Mark. The UKita Quality Mark provides a service to organisations, large and small, who are seeking a reputable ICT supplier. The UKita Quality Mark is designed to provide the assurance that an ICT Supplier has demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction and is a professionally run organisation.
Organisation’s seeking ICT Solutions quite rightly demand to work with reputable suppliers and with quality being at the heart of UKita, the UKita Quality Mark pushes forward the boundaries of excellence to give organisations that level of reassurance and comfort.
UKita comprised of regional branches with their head office being based at Solihull in the West Midlands. UKita has been created through the forming of regional IT networking groups, to form a nationwide body for IT companies, meaning that the members are at the very heart of the association. Other regions are set to flourish using this procedure, enabling them, if available, to draw down Regional Development Agency (RDA) or European funding, to be spent in that region, with the required audit trail.
Mike Bridges, Sales Director at MJC says ‘We look forward to working with UKita and its members with a synergistic approach to IT Solutions’.
UKita also partner with the British Computer Society (BCS) and the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET, formerly the IEEE), both of which support the Association through networking and marketing activities. UKita also work with the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) both nationally and internationally.
